What is Rotary?

I've been asked this question many times, especially after becoming the first woman Governor of Rotary International in Lithuania, district 1462. My answer - Rotary is a unique organization with over 117 years in history, the first social network, which allows you to develop authentic leadership skills and have a 3D (three dimensional) experience:

• 1D - DIVERSITY. Every club unites very diverse people with different backgrounds, professions, and views. A diverse fellowship allows you to understand the world better.

• 2D - DISCOVERY. Every club regularly invites & meets interesting speakers from outside or within the club, enabling you to expand your horizons of understanding and learn new ideas.

• 3D - DELIVERY. Every club designs and delivers meaningful philanthropic projects of their choice, making the world a better place for everyone.

The largest Rotary picnic table in the world

To celebrate the new Rotary year 2020-2021 and the inauguration of the new Presidents at Lituanica International, Vilnius, Šalčininkai-Dipolis satellite, Šiauliai, Šiaulių Harmonija and Vilnius Inner Wheel clubs, as well as the first woman District Governor 2020-2021 Viktorija Trimbel, Lithuanian Rotary, Rotaract, Interact and Inner Wheel clubs gathered together for the safe post-quarantine picnic in the open air near the geographic center of continental Europe and arranged picnic tables into the Rotary International Mark of Excellence shape.
