Help to heal invisible war traumas
Join a Global grant project "Psychological help for families of Ukrainian refugees" and help them to recover. Many people lost lives, were wounded, raped, or tortured for the freedom not only of their own country but for all of Europe and the democratic world. Yet even more suffered and continue to suffer invisible psychological traumas.
Prepare a school bag for Ukrainian kid
Contribute to gift a school backpack for an Ukrainian kid. This year Vilnius International Rotaract Club expanded their long term project the "First Backpack", running since 2016, to support war refugee school children from Ukraine to provide backpacks with necessary school supplies. From just 30 backpacks in 2016 to ambitious 500 in 2022.

Small & beautiful - based in the northern part of Lithuania, a region called Akmenė ("stone region, where people are making stones move“), this NGO Way To The Dreams (Kelias į svajonę) has been supporting war refugees and freedom defenders in Ukraine for many years. Help them to do more.

See & hear witness accounts by hosting an online film screening with its crew
Screen a documentary in your club or community, created by a Rotarian Dominykas Kubilius, who was in Ukraine with his crew when the war started. Host him and/or Jonas Ohman, leader of the Blue/Yellow for Ukraine, online and learn directly what is happening, and what kind of help can achieve a lasting peace ASAP.
The original script of this documentary was different. Rotarian Dominykas Kubilius from Lietuvos Tūkstantmečio RC accompanied Jonas Ohman, the founder of the Blue/Yellow for Ukraine NGO, on one of his many regular missions to help Ukrainian freedom defenders since 2014 when Russia started this war and occupied Crimea and other parts of the sovereign state.

Make weekends & summer worth to remember for Ukrainian refugee kids
Since March 2022 free weekend camps for Ukrainian children in Lithuania are offered in Vilnius and Kaunas. From June 11, camps will be converted into open-air format on even a larger scale, where Ukrainian children will be joined by Lithuanian children to play and build lasting friendships and give back to Ukrainian children what is rightfully theirs: carefree childhood.
From socially-responsible business and ordinary Lithuanian citizens to the Prime Minister of Lithuania and ambassadors of foreign states, the best Lithuanian bands, and singers, directors, writers, teachers, actors and presenters, cafes, restaurants have volunteered to entertain and care for the Ukrainian children.
